Privacy Policy — Ebisu's Bay
Last Updated: July 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ebisu's Bay ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you access or use the Ebisu's Bay NFT marketplace, its documentation, wallet connectivity flows, collection management tools, profiles, notifications, and related services available through https://ebisusbay.com/ and its subdomains (collectively, the "Platform").
By using the Platform, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Platform.
See also our Terms & Conditions and Risk Disclosure.
Ebisu's Bay is an NFT marketplace on the Cronos blockchain, operated and maintained by the Ebisu's Bay team.
The Platform is not offered or made available to persons or entities in the European Union or the European Economic Area, or in any other Restricted Territory listed in our Terms & Conditions.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at [email protected] or [email protected].
- You can browse the marketplace without connecting anything.
- Once you connect a wallet, your wallet address becomes the identifier we associate activity with.
- Marketplace activity — listings, sales, offers, mints, transfers — is recorded on a public blockchain and is permanently visible to everyone, including us. We cannot delete it.
- Profiles, usernames, activity feeds, achievements, levels, and leaderboards are deliberately public features of the marketplace.
- We never ask for or store private keys or seed phrases.
The information we collect depends on how you use the Platform.
- Wallet addresses you connect, enter, search for, or use with the Platform
- Profile information you choose to create, such as a username, display name, avatar or banner image, biography, and social links
- Collection and Drop information submitted by Creators through the collection management tools — collection names, descriptions, artwork, banners, social links, royalty configuration, and metadata or image URL templates used to index the collection
- Listing, offer, and cart activity you initiate through the interface
- Favorites, watchlists, filters, and display preferences you set
- Notification preferences and browser push-subscription data if you enable notifications
- Support or contact messages you send to us, including infringement notices and any evidence you attach
- IP address, coarse geolocation inferred from network traffic, request timestamps, referrer information, and server request metadata
- Browser, device, and operating-system information
- Pages and items viewed, including collections, tokens, and search queries
- Session identifiers used to operate, secure, and debug the Platform
- Diagnostic and error data, including JavaScript errors, failed network requests, stack traces, and related troubleshooting context
- Push-subscription status and service-worker state where relevant to notification delivery
We use browser storage technologies such as cookies, localStorage, and similar local storage to support the Platform. Depending on the feature, this may include:
- Appearance and interface preferences
- Session continuity and wallet-connection state
- Your cart contents for sweeping and bulk purchases
- Saved filters, sort orders, selected chains, favorites, and dismissed announcements
- Notification-related status needed to keep features working consistently
If you disable cookies or browser storage, some features may not function properly.
Blockchain networks are public by design. If you connect a wallet or submit transactions, the following are visible to us and to anyone else who can read the relevant blockchain:
- Wallet addresses
- NFT ownership, transfers, and full trading history
- Listings, sales prices, offers, and escrowed bids
- Mints and drop participation
- Token balances and transfers
- Smart-contract interactions, including approvals you have granted
- Other publicly available on-chain activity
We do not control public blockchain records and cannot delete or alter them. Anyone can associate a wallet address with its complete on-chain history, and, if that address is linked to an identity anywhere, with you.
- Wallet connectivity providers and supported wallet software
- RPC, blockchain, indexing, and infrastructure providers
- NFT metadata and media hosts — including IPFS gateways, Arweave, and Creator-operated servers — from which we fetch and cache collection content
- Social account-linking or identity providers if you choose to use them
- Notification, media, CDN, upload, or security providers
- Third-party protocols or services you choose to interact with through the Platform
- Operate the marketplace: display collections and items, run search and filtering, build carts, and surface listings, offers, and activity
- Compute and display rarity ranks, trait floors, floor prices, volumes, and price history
- Index collections, and fetch, cache, re-fetch, and re-index metadata and media from the sources a Creator provides
- Authenticate wallet connections and maintain session integrity
- Operate profiles, achievements, levels, leaderboards, and buy competitions, including detecting wash trading, self-dealing, and coordinated multi-wallet manipulation
- Deliver notifications you have enabled
- Debug issues, monitor failures, and protect the reliability and security of the Platform
- Detect, investigate, prevent, or respond to abuse, fraud, phishing, spam, copy-minting, security incidents, or misuse
- Review infringement notices and administer takedowns and counter-notices
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, policies, and rights
- Communicate with you about support requests or important service changes
We do not need your private keys or recovery phrase to operate the Platform, and you should never share them with us or anyone else.
Because Ebisu's Bay is a public marketplace, a substantial amount of information is visible to other users by design:
- Your wallet address and everything it has ever done on-chain
- Items you own, list, buy, sell, offer on, or mint, and the prices involved
- Your profile, username, avatar, banner, biography, and social links, if you create one
- Your appearance in activity feeds, recent listings and sales panels, and highest-sale highlights
- Your achievements, level, and position on leaderboards, including buy-competition standings
- Collection information you submit as a Creator, including artwork, descriptions, and links
Do not submit information you do not want to be public, and do not use a username, avatar, or biography that identifies you if you wish to remain pseudonymous. Linking a social account or a recognisable username to your wallet address makes your entire on-chain history attributable to you, permanently and irreversibly.
- Service providers and infrastructure partners that help us host, index, secure, deliver, monitor, or maintain the Platform
- Blockchain networks and counterparties, when your use of the Platform causes information to be broadcast on-chain or sent to third-party contracts
- Metadata and media hosts, when we fetch content from a URL a Creator has provided
- Rights holders, where we forward or respond to an infringement notice or counter-notice — a notice you send may be shared with the party whose content it concerns
- Identity, wallet, notification, CDN, upload, or security providers where needed to deliver a feature you chose to use
- Legal or regulatory authorities, courts, or law enforcement when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, users, or the Platform
- Corporate transaction participants, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, or similar transaction
We do not sell your personal information.
If you enable notifications, your browser or device creates a push subscription containing endpoint and encryption data needed to deliver them. We use that information to send the marketplace notifications you requested — such as offers received, items sold, or drop reminders — and to manage subscription status, including unsubscribe requests and key rotation.
You can disable notifications in your browser settings and, where available, in the Platform settings.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the security and integrity of the marketplace.
Retention varies by data type:
- Public blockchain data — including all trading history — remains available indefinitely because it is stored on public ledgers outside our control
- Indexed marketplace data derived from the blockchain is retained for as long as we operate the marketplace
- Browser-stored preferences, carts, and caches remain until they expire, are overwritten, or you clear them
- Operational and diagnostic logs are retained for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and reliability needs
- Profile, notification, support, submission, and takedown records are retained as long as needed for the relevant feature or compliance purpose
The Platform may be operated, hosted, or supported by providers in multiple countries. By using the Platform, you understand that information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws than your own.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable law, including the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information, subject to legal and operational limits
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Request a copy of certain information in a portable format
These rights cannot extend to on-chain data. Blockchain records — ownership, listings, sales, offers, mints, and transfers — are permanent, public, and outside our control. We can remove or amend information we hold off-chain, such as a profile, username, avatar, biography, or submitted collection metadata; we cannot erase your trading history.
You may also control certain information directly by:
- Disconnecting your wallet
- Deleting or editing your profile, username, avatar, and biography
- Using a fresh wallet address that is not linked to an identity
- Revoking permissions in third-party wallet or social providers
- Turning off browser notifications
- Clearing cookies or local browser storage
To make a privacy request, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify that a request genuinely comes from the controller of the relevant wallet address, typically by asking you to sign a message with it.
The Platform is not directed to children, and our Terms require users to be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction if higher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no internet transmission, wallet integration, browser environment, or storage system is completely secure.
You are responsible for securing your own devices, wallets, accounts, and credentials, and for reviewing token approvals and transactions before signing them. Never share your private keys, recovery phrase, or wallet secrets.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Policy.
